Blanket is nice and soft! The turquoise color is pretty close to turquoise and doesn’t look like as it appears in the pictures. Its a brighter color. But I am still happy with it. Its pretty light and somewhat thin, but thick enough. I paid about $35 for it and Im not sure if its worth that much yet. Others cost half the price and I am satisfied with other ones I got.I LOVE this blanket for my newborn. The key is to wash it and DONT dry it. Let it air dry, hanging up and it will keep it's softness for a long time! I am obsessed with these blankets and will get a new one with every baby we have!This blanket I purchased for the color and style. I commute to work daily and this size is perfect for throwing into my bag and going. Everything is perfect except it shed all over my clothes. (4 star reason). I hope that after washing one more time it will do better. I also have this in another color which did not shed. But allover happy with my purchase. Will recommend in a heartbeat. If only you had in a lap style as well...This is the softest blanket ever! We bought this as a blanket double just in case he left the first blanket somewhere. It is so soft that our baby now uses two of them!!! And he loves to rub the silk edges!This isn't a cheap blanket, but it is the softest, most snugly blanket you're going to find. I almost wish there was a larger version for adults! It's a good weight fabric, so it will keep the baby warm with this blanket tucked in around your bundle of joy. My son also plays with it in the crib, and we'll lay it over him when putting him down for the night (he's over a year old, so don't worry for all the "noting in the crib" crowd out there). Our nanny lost the first one on a stroll through the park, so we bought it again because it's by far the best blanket. This blanket is well made and I suspect it will last for many years, unlike some other ones we received that have already made their way to the trash or donation.I have three of these now plus the sleep sacks in the same material.
