I absolutely love this backpack. I was a little skeptical of this bag at first because I thought it would be very large and hang down all droopy like my old bag. Boy was I wrong! I bought the smaller bag (14") because I have a small macbook air and I'm only 5'2" tall. This bag is amazing. It is the perfect size for everything I want to carry and doesn't overwhelm my body size. It has structure to it so there is absolutely no droopiness. Here are the pros and cons of the bag as I see it (well, just one and a half cons):Pros:* It is gorgeous! The colors, shape, proportions, everything!* There are pockets everywhere. I can find everything within seconds. The efficiency and orderliness is wonderful! It pulls off being "buttoned up" inside while keeping a fun and flirty exterior. (Hooray for no more black!)* There are pockets everywhere! (That just bears repeating!) Even with a smaller bag, I have never had to forgo packing something I wanted/needed. There is plenty of room left in the center for my lunch and gym clothes.* The zippers are super smooth.* The top zipper pulls both sides together to keep it sleek looking but when it is open it is wide open so you can get a good look inside for that thing you want.* Holds it's shape nicely.* There is a phone recharge plug. And if you aren't using it, you can tuck it in and zip it away.* It is currently over 100* outside as I bike to work. No backpack is going to feel cool, but considering the conditions it is as cool and comfortable as possible.* It is very comfortable. The straps don't dig in no matter how much I load into it. (Can this company please make a bra?!?)* I thought the pick up strap on the top might get in the way of the backpack straps but I haven't even noticed it being there.* The side pockets retract in such a lovely way. No bunching or gaping.Cons:* The smaller pocket in the front could use two zippers instead of one. (The front pocket that zips up, over, and back down again.) I am often retrieving things from this pocket so I leave it half zipped most of the time. I would love to have two zippers that could allow me to just leave a slit open to snag my stuff. It would be more convenient when it is sitting on the floor to not have to bend all the way to the ground to find the zipper since two zippers would leave me access from above. On a lesser note, it looks sloppy with it half zipped and I worry that I will forget to zip it one day and stuff will fall out.* I am sure some people love the tissue access on the side pocket, but I don't see the need for it and it makes me nervous about putting things in there. But to be fair, nothing I've put in there has fallen out so this is my "half" of a con.Note: Crime is very low here so I can't address how safe I would or wouldn't feel using the bag in a crowded train car in a high crime area.Bottom line: I rarely rave about products but this one is truly worth the praise. Truly, the best backpack I've owned and so much better than I thought possible.
